1. Agreement to Terms
By booking services with Forte Entertainment Ltd, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before making a booking.
2. Booking & Deposits
- A 50% deposit is required to secure your booking date and equipment.
- The remaining balance is due one month before your event date.
- Bookings are only confirmed upon receipt of the deposit.
- We reserve the right to release your date if the deposit is not received within 7 days of the quote.
3. Cancellation Policy
- More than 60 days before event: Full deposit refund minus £50 admin fee.
- 30-60 days before event: 50% of deposit refunded.
- Less than 30 days before event: No refund available.
- Cancellations must be made in writing via email.
4. Event Requirements
The client is responsible for:
- Providing adequate access to the venue for setup and breakdown
- Ensuring appropriate power supply is available
- Obtaining any necessary venue permissions or licences
- Providing accurate event details including timings and guest numbers
5. Equipment & Liability
- All equipment remains the property of Forte Entertainment Ltd.
- The client is responsible for any damage to equipment caused by guests or misuse.
- We carry £5 million public liability insurance for all events.
- We are not liable for any indirect or consequential losses.
6. Weather & Outdoor Events
For outdoor events, we reserve the right to modify or cancel services if weather conditions pose a safety risk. In such cases, we will work with you to find an alternative solution or reschedule where possible.
7. Photography & Marketing
We may take photographs or videos at events for marketing purposes. Please inform us in writing before your event if you do not wish to be included in marketing materials.
8. Force Majeure
We shall not be liable for any failure to perform our obligations where such failure results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, or government restrictions.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
