Frequently Asked Questions
How many guests can a tipi hold?
A single giant hat tipi comfortably seats around 60–80 guests for a seated dinner, or up to 120 standing. Tipis can be connected together — two tipis seat 120–150, three seat 180–220. We'll recommend the right configuration for your guest count.
Can tipis be used in winter?
Absolutely. Our tipis work year-round. For colder months, we add sides, flooring and heating to keep guests warm and comfortable. A winter tipi event with a central fire pit is incredibly atmospheric.
What ground surfaces can tipis be set up on?
Tipis work on grass, gravel, and most flat outdoor surfaces. We use heavy-duty stakes for grass and weight plates for hard surfaces. A site visit helps us plan the best setup.
Do you provide furniture and styling?
Yes. We offer complete packages including rustic tables, benches, hay bales, festoon lighting, rugs and fire pits. You can also bring your own décor — we're flexible.
How much space do I need?
A single tipi needs roughly 12m x 12m of flat ground. Connected tipis need proportionally more. We recommend a site visit to assess your space and plan the layout.
How far in advance should I book?
For weddings, 6–12 months is ideal as peak dates book fast. For corporate events and festivals, 2–3 months is usually sufficient. Contact us to check availability for your date.
